Yep, writing is always of the body and in the body. Thanks for this. I can't BREATHE when I write on college-ruled paper. Oddly enough, I remember asking (a more than slightly bombed) Jim Carroll to autograph a book for my friend Jane at a book signing...and I can still see the jagged, sprawling, mis-spelled dedication--"To JAYNE."
