I first experienced this when I was working at the Museum of Sex and I got on the VCA screener list - 12 VHS tapes a month showed up in these red boxes that had "here's your adult movie" printed on them. Since leaving that job I've tried really hard to stay off the company lists and on the list of individual directors/producers. I've been mostly successful, but I still play porn fairy a lot.
