You're are completely right about this and I've felt like a weirdo thinking it might've been just me!

Certainly stress and depression are bad for your libido, so it makes sense exercise going to help you be horny.

But, as you say, there's more to it than that.

I know if I've been doing lots of exercise, be it cycling, weights or climbing (btw, climbing is especially good for being aware of your body and others' and it's more fun than the gym!), then I know I'll get very horny in the next day or so. I think this is related to the increase in testosterone that the body produces in order to repair all those worn-out muscles.

It does seem to work for women too. My wife experiences a similar, but more immediate effect after exercise and I have to admit, I probably find her more attractive when she's a little bit hot and sweaty. Doing exercise with your partner, then massaging each other and seeing where things go from there is something I can't recommend enough!

You know, I remember feeling this way back when, but being freaked out by it because you weren't supposed to get turned on by it right? (Last time I worked out with weights, I was really pretty young. And dumb. Definitely dumb.) I may have to try it again now!
