When our mailing list was discussing the MIT "purity test", (400 questions, where many points come from having had sex in an assortment of contexts) she asked "does anal sex count? We're talking like 60 points here". One of the gays on the list tossed back: "Why not? It does for me!" I feel like people who think like that are basically saying, "hey, gay people aren't having real sex because there may be a penis involved but there's no vagina to compliment it!
