Just My Type
If there’s a particular look, or body type, or costume, or uniform, or outfit that gets you excited, there’s a pretty good chance there’s a blog or gallery or pay site that caters to your particular whims. (Well, unless you have really weird taste.)
Let’s say, for instance, you’ve got a thing for witches (be they Wiccans, hot girls in “sexy witch” Hallowe’en costumes, brides of Satan, or some other variety of wise woman) — check out Sexy Witch, a blog devoted to sharing images of assorted witches in all their bewitching glory. You’ll find everything from cheesy book covers to naughty magazine layouts to vintage postcards to slightly scary engravings to many other nice things. (No hags, though. These are the pretty kind of witches.) And, yes, there are broomstick-riding pictures. I know you were wondering.
Or suppose you like stewardesses. Not surly flight attendants who begrudge you a scratchy pillow and tiny blanket, oh, no, but old-school stewardesses, from the days when flying was a fancy-dress occasion and you could still smoke on a plane. Or, from a slightly later but still unreconstructed and chauvinist era, stewardesses who wore miniskirts and go-go boots. There’s a great round-up of photos featuring “The Glamour of Flight” at the Dark Roasted Blend blog, with lots of promotional photos from the good old bad old days of air travel.
But enough nostalgia. How about a predilection for something that didn’t even exist a few years ago — like, say, scantily-clad women listening to iPods? (That’s right. Many of them wearing nothing but earbuds and maybe a nano strapped to her arm.) Check out Madame Xpod, proof that there are, indeed, new things under the sun. It’s a pay site, but there are quite a few samples available for browsing. These are actually high-quality photos, most quite artsy, and it would be easy to spin a nice line of bullshit about how the depiction of sexually attractive people in the self-imposed seclusion created by personal music players speaks to a profound failure of human connection in the modern world . . . but, actually, I just like looking at pictures of half-naked hipsters. And I don’t have to explain myself to you!

And, of course, there’s Wet Riffs. It actually exists!
