On March 19th, Blowfish is proud to host the San Francisco debut of Queer Porn-u-Copia! This one-night festival of the best of queer erotic filmmaking will play at the Roxy Theatre. We’re proud to be showing scenes from The Bi Apple, TransEntities, a special clip from Trannywood Productions, and a few clips, never before shown in a theatre, from Crash Pad Series. We’ll cap our evening with a never-before (by anyone!) seen trailer from Shine Louise Houston’s latest release, Champion.
Join us! Doors open at 7pm, with the screening at 7:30pm. Tickets are $15 at the door, or $10 in advance from us.

Faithful readers will remember that the San Francisco Armory was the center of a small local kerkuffle when Friends of the ‘Fish Kink.com purchased it for use as their new palatial Porn Palace. This weekend, it will also play host to the Mission Bazaar:
Mission Bazaar features a diverse collection of artisans exhibiting their creative works, products, fashion and accessories. There will be over 20 hours of live performances on three stages featuring live music, circus and dance acts, performance artists and DJs, including gypsy jazz, bellydance, spoken word, beatbox, choral ensembles, fashion shows, puppetry, flamenco guitar, and much more. In addition, Mission Bazaar has invited a cross-section of Mission-based non-profit organizations to attend.
No mention of tours of the production areas of the Armory, although Christophe is still all a-buzz from getting to see long-buried Mission Creek running through the basement. If you are in the San Francisco area, by all means swing by, do some local shopping, and check out what Kink’s done with this San Francisco landmark.

We’re extremely proud to announce that The Crash Pad Series Volume 1, the follow-up to the award-winning, best-selling The Crash Pad, has been nominated for the Feminist Porn Awards at the 2008 ceremony! We’re fully expecting another victory, after she walked away with awards for The Crash Pad, Superfreak, and In Search of the Wild Kingdom in 2006 and 2007!
