[Books] Money Shot
If you’re fascinated by the world of porn, but want a bit more plot than a memoir might provide, have we got a book for you. Money Shot is a hard-boiled crime novel, complete with pulpy, sexy cover, set in the porn movie industry. With a washed-up porn star turned agent as the protagonist and mysterious bad guys thugging around, the action is fierce and fascinating. If you have even a passing knowledge of porn flicks, there are inside jokes, tidbits of revealing information and a plethora of porn title puns for you. The story’s not bad and the writing is excellent, making this a real page-turner. And the cover is mild enough (nudity is implied but not explicit) that you can read this one on the bus, the beach . . . wherever your summer reading is happening this year. A fun, fast read full of crime bosses and porn stars, what more could you ask for?
